[Androidme2018]- Getting cornered into a phone contract is a bummer. Despite new rules in the United States that crack down on unfair contracts, getting a pre-paid plan is often the best option. In no particular order, here are the best Verizon prepaid phones.

HTC One (M8)
Verizon is selling the HTC One (M8) for 500 USD. At AndroidPIT, we consider the HTC One (M8) one of the best phones of 2014. When we reviewed the HTC flagship, we noted its sturdy design, able camera and sophisticated touchscreen. Though at 2600 mAh, its battery life is nothing spectacular.

LG G2

Currently, Verizon is selling the black model of the LG G2 for 500 USD. The LG G2 was one of the first Android phones with hardware buttons on the back. Though it sounds gimmicky, our testers said the design was intuitive and useful. Another unique feature was the “Knock On” software, which allows users to tap the screen on and off.
At some point, the G2 should receive a Lollipop update. In the mean time, it’s running Android 4.2.2 - Jelly Bean. LG has been criticized for the awkwardness of the Optimus user interface. Also, as a phone from 2013, it’s obsolescence seems a little nearer than a newer phone.

Moto G (2013)

Right now, Verizon is selling the 2013 version of the Moto G for only 80 USD. The Moto G (2013) is one of the top budget Android phones on the market. It has won over many reviewers with its slick design and reliable performance.
The Moto G (2013) stands out for its affordability: its similar to the Moto X or Moto E, but at a fraction of the price. If you’re an aspiring photographer though, the Moto G (2013) might not be the right phone for you. Its camera features are adequate, but nothing spectacular.

Verizon sells this Samsung flagship for 600 USD. The Galaxy S5 comes with all the flashy features: a heartrate monitor, a fingerprint scanner, and so on. But with some of the best battery life on the market, it can easily sustain all these multi-tasking features.
Like most Samsung phones, the Galaxy 5S comes with a bunch of bloatware pre-installed. Sales for the Galaxy 5S were disappointing, but don't let Samsung's failure reflect badly on this phone.
