[Androidme2018]- Huawei is continuing on its path to exceptional growth. After promising sales numbers for its Mate 9, the Chinese manufacturer is readying its successor, the Mate 10, for an October debut. This iteration should arrive in a competitive market ready to win with an 18:9 display, dual camera and the new house processor, the Kirin 970, made with a 10 nanometer process. A promotional poster in China has revealed that the Mate 10 will have a 6.2-inch display and an impressive dual camera.

When will the Huawei Mate 10 be released?
The Huawei Mate 10 will be launched on October 16.
Rumors say the Mate 10 Lite and Mate 10 Pro will be revealed at the event in Munich, Germany as well. Multiple versions of the Mate 10 are likely to be launched, given that there were alternate versions of the Mate 9, including Pro, Lite and Porsche Design variants.
How much will the Huawei Mate 10 cost?
The Mate 10 could come at a hefty $1100.
If current rumors are to be believed, this price would represent a big jump up from the $599 of its predecessor, the Mate 9. We expect the Mate 10 Lite to be a bit more affordable than the Mate 10, and the Mate 10 Pro to cost a bit more.
The Huawei Mate 10 design will go bezel and home button free
With the Mate 10, Huawei will be joining the the ranks of the bezel-free according to its CEO Richard Yu. In two newly leaked live images of the device, you can see that there are basically no bezels at all to the right and left of the screen. Though, there are thin bezels to accommodate a front camera and speaker on the top, and a Huawei logo at the bottom. Notably missing is the home button, which did appear in a recent leak from the notorious @OnLeaks, which we'll talk about next.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro live photos and high quality renders
Photos of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro in hand on Chinese social network Weibo have given us the first real life glimpse of the phone in the wild. Check out the photos here for a look at the Mate 10 Pro's tall display and glossy glass back.
Evan Blass, the VentureBeat reporter notorious for dropping consistent, reliable leaks, has posted a high quality render of the rumored Huawei Mate 10 Pro device on Twitter. The Mate 10 Pro appears to be somewhat similar in design, but it makes a huge departure when it comes to the rear camera. The dual camera module, which sits in a striking band, is centered with both lenses vertically oriented, just above the rear fingerprint scanner. There's a Leica flash to the left of the lenses, and a sensor to the right.

Expect powerful performance from the Mate 10's specs
Huawei's goal is to someday surpass Apple and Samsung, and with the launch of the Mate 10 soon, it hopes to take steps toward that goal by outshining the tenth anniversary iPhone X. The Mate 10 is being revealed after the new Apple smartphone obviously, but Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei's Consumer Business Group, told Bloomberg that the Mate 10 will be "an even more powerful product."
He continues with details, "The Mate 10, which has much longer battery life with a full-screen display, quicker changing [sic] speed, better photographing capability and many other features that will help us compete with Apple." Yu also revealed that Huawei will stop making low-end devices because it isn't profitable enough as the firm continues to expand globally with a focus on Europe, China and Japan.

Promotional material reveals 6.2-inch display and 20+23 MP dual rear camera
The latest Huawei Mate 10 specs leak comes from a promotional poster in a Chinese store, which was shared on the Chinese social network Weibo. It reveals some key specs of the device, some of which were already confirmed: the Kirin 970 processor and the 4,000 mAh battery capacity. What's new here is that it mentions a 6.2-inch display and 2,160 x 1,080 resolution. In addition, the Leica branded rear dual camera will have 20 and 23 MP sensors. We can't be sure the leak is real, but if it is, we can be sure that Huawei's first full display phones will have favorable screen-to-body ratios since CEO Richard Yu said it himself recently.
Kirin 970 processor confirmed
The upcoming Huawei Mate 10 is likely to be a performance monster. It's confirmed that Huawei's future phablet will offer the latest Kirin 970 processor, also made by Huawei. The Kirin 970 would be engraved in 10 nanometers instead of 16 nanometers, as was the case with Kirin 960 of the Huawei P10. In general, a smaller semiconductor size results in greater energy efficiency and better performance. This new processor could even match Samsung's latest SoC, the Exynos 8895 and the Snapdragon 835. Moreover, this Kirin 970 processor would offer 8 cores, 4 ARM Cortex-A73 clocked at 3 GHz and 4 ARM Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.8 Ghz. On the graphics side, Huawei should also evolve with a Mali-G71 MP8 GPU.
4,000 mAh and all day battery life confirmed
Huawei has taken to Twitter to confirm the battery capacity of the new Mate 10. It will have 4,000 mAh, the same as the Mate 9, which Huawei says will last all day on a single charge. As we mentioned above, CEO Richard Yu says that the Mate 10 also will charge faster than previous models.

According to a recent TENAA certification which we mention in detail below, what is believed to be the Mate 10 Lite will have a smaller battery with 3,240 mAh capacity. There's still no word on the battery of the rumored Mate 10 Pro, but we expect it will also feature 4,000 mAh capacity.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite specs from TENAA
What we believe to be the Huawei Mate 10 Lite has passed through the Chinese equivalent of the FCC. This TENAA certification means it's nearly ready to hit the market, and it reveals some other interesting information about the device as well. Regarding the display, the Mate 10 Lite will measure 5.9 inches diagonally, have a 2:1 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,160. But, we don't expect it to have rounded corners like the LG V30, LG G6, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or S8.

The dimensions with be 156.2 x 75.2 x 7.5 mm, and it will weigh 164 grams thanks in part to the 3,240 mAh battery. That's lighter than the 190 gram Mate 9, which had a 4,000 mAh battery. It looks like it will ship in two colors, blue and gold.
The Huawei Mate 10 is confirmed to feature a dual camera
Huawei has stepped in to confirm previous rumors that the Mate 10 would have a dual camera, just like its predecessor, and to have a little jab at Samsung. With the recent debut of Samsung's new Galaxy Note 8, the South Korean firm is undeniably late to the dual camera party. Huawei tweeted an image of four of its phones, all featuring dual cameras, along with their respective release dates. Among them was the P9, Mate 9, P10 and the new Mate 10. Due to be revealed on October 16, the new Mate 10 wasn't labeled by name, but by a rather shady hashtag instead #beyondthegalaxy.
