[Androidme2018]- The Huawei Mate S has been unveiled by Huawei at a press event at IFA 2015. The new device is the successor to the Ascend Mate 7, and has a 5.5-inch 2.5D 'floating screen' with Full-HD resolution (401 ppi) and a fingerprint scanner. Find out all about the Huawei Mate S below.

Huawei Mate S specs
The Mate S arrives with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 with Huawei's EMUI 3.1 user-interface and a Kirin 935 chipset. This is backed up by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB with a microSD card.
The main camera is a 13 MP offering and the front-facing camera is 8 MP. A 2,700 mAh battery keeps everything powered.
On the software front, the Huawei Mate S also features some interesting software additions, including the ability to launch the camera just by drawing a 'C' on the display – similar to the OnePlus gestures – with Knuckle Touch 2.0.
There will also be a Mate S variant which benefits from Force Touch technology, meaning it can interpret different levels of pressure for wider functionality (such as zooming into a photo with a stronger press). Force Touch is expected to arrive on the new iPhone next week, so Huawei has narrowly beaten Apple to the punch.
Huawei Mate S price and release date
The Mate S will launch at the end of September in more than 30 countries for 649 Euros. The Force Touch version, however, will only be available in "select markets". US pricing and availability information will follow soon, along with our preliminary thoughts in our hands-on Huawei Mate S review.
