Best Is the Droid Turbo a better Nexus 6? -Androidme2018

[Androidme2018]- When I heard the rumors about the Motorola Droid Turbo a while back I had, for a fleeting moment, sincerely hoped that it would be the actual foundation for the Nexus 6 rather than a supersized Moto X (2014). While the Nexus 6 still looks to be the business, its high price tag and giant screen has put many people off, including me. The brand new Droid Turbo is every bit as awesome as the Nexus 6 but it's smaller, cheaper and has a better camera and battery: is the Droid Turbo a better Nexus 6?

I think so. The usual caveat would be that the Nexus 6 will get Android updates faster than any OEM or carrier branded device. But thanks to Motorola's recent close ties to Google, Moto devices are now running what some are calling stock plus, or a stock version of Android with the barest scraping of Moto features and apps on top. This means that Motorola devices are hot on the heels of Nexus devices for Android updates and sometimes even in front. Of course, Verizon will slow things down a tad, but not by much. Here's the side-by-side specs comaprison:

Android 5.0 Lollipop update: when will I get it?
Everything you need to know about Android 5.0 Lollipop
The two biggest issues with the recent Nexus lineup, including the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, is a weak camera and poor battery. The Droid Turbo arrives with not only a massive 21 MP camera but also with a gargantuan battery to boot – the other traditional Achilles' heel of Nexus devices. So is the Droid Turbo a better Nexus 6? In my opinion, yes it is – almost everything else is on a par specs-wise and it will actually fit in your pocket. And it's even cheaper.
If only Motorola decide to release the Droid Turbo on other carriers (it is currently a Verizon exclusive) or even better, offer an unlocked version then it may well become known as a better Nexus than the actual Nexus.
What do you think of the Droid Turbo? Is it a better Nexus than the Nexus 6?
