[Androidme2018]- The e-reader company Kobo has announced three new Android tablets and has thus expanded its line of products. Announced just recently, the Kobo Arc 7, Arc 7 HD, and Arc 10 HD will be making their way to the market and support the entire rang of platforms from budget to high-end specs.

All the tablets will be running on Android 4.2.2 right out of the box and are set to launch (in the UK at least) on October 16th. As an addition, all the tablets will support content and apps from the Google Play Store as well as cater to their own book store.

The main point it seems that Kobo is trying to make it to capture the entire market when it comes to offerings in the tablet market. However, with the Arc 7 priced just 50 dollars below its HD counterpart, it's almost a wonder if consumers wouldn't just be willing to pony up the extra money for the boost in internal storage, processor speed, and display crispness. All of the tablets presented will have a "reading mode" that basically mimics the Airplane mode of most handheld devices. Once turned on, you'll experience a boost in battery power (Kobo has said going from 9 hours to 10 days) and thismode will turn off all notifications, sounds, optimize the lightning for reading, and shut down some Android services. A great little feature for those who want to use their Kobo for one of their main purposes, reading.

How will the new Arc lineup handle itself against the competitors? With the Arc 7 HD priced below the latest Nexus 7 and offering an almost similar display, we might be in for a surprose. As for myself, I can't wait to try these out after dismissing Kobo's e-readers in the past.
